"INFO ON THE LAKE" Crescent plans giant Lake Wylie development By TAYLOR BRIGHT Crescent Resources plans to develop more than 2,300 acres around Lake Wylie in York County, S.C., for residential, retail and office space. If a zoning change is approved and the land developed as envisioned, it would be one of the largest developments in the Charlotte area. The project's acreage would be bigger than Highland Creek in northwest Charlotte and almost a third bigger than the Palisades in southwest Charlotte, which has 1,600 acres.
